In the holidays mum took us hiking to waihere domain.
At the beginning of the walk, there was a playground. In the playground there were some plastic swings and a really bumpy slide . Rusty and I had to take turns on the slide otherwise one of us was gonna get hurt. We saw a empty pool, and some silly people had spray painted bad vibes on the pool sides.
At the end of the walk was a shimmery waterfall. There were stepping stones that went across a little stream that connected to a sandy pond. There was a cave on the other side of the stepping stones. It leads though the cave & up the waterfall were you find a cool looking place.
There is another way to get up onto the waterfall but, it is on a 6 foot tall cliff and the path is only as long as half a ruler. The path is long and steep.
At the end of the hike, we got to eat some delicious sushi that gave my stomach a tingling sensation. That was my favourite thing!
